Hi there

I bought an iPod armband from sports direct for less than £5, have had a year now and it's still fine. They have plenty of other running gadgets too. Also if you look on eBay you can find them too. Just make sure that it covers the top

Hope this helps

I bought one Off eBay but found that I was getting tangled up in the headphone wires. I dumped the arm band and now keep the iPod in my bra!

I've managed so far with the ipod in my jacket pocket - so far I've always been wearing something with pockets as it's been cold, and I mostly haven't been running fast enough to get hot! I've tried on some running tights with build-in ipod pockets, but ended up getting some that didn't have them, so I don't know how effective those are.

I've got a little running ipod pouch which clips onto my running trousers or joggers, which I saw on offer in sports direct shop. It's worked really well as I don't feel it's there.

I had an armband, it was the Karrimor run one. It was fine but can't use it any more as I have a new phone. It's quite small, it could fit a galaxy ace in there (just) but not sure about the full size ipod. I would guess it would be too small.

I just got a running belt (Karrimor again) for only £3 from Sports direct. It has a pocket with a headphone hole but again it's quite small. There's another pocket at the back that should fit an ipod in though.

I'm just using the pocket in my running tights atm and it's working fine, although if I ever get to the point where I need to carry gels then I will use the belt.
