firstly --- I had a great Christmas - hope you all did too!
can tell I've had a few too many drinkie poos and goodies because everything was a wobbling when I went out tonight for my first run since Sunday!! wobbling more than usual!
I went out earlier than usual because I'm out babysitting two of my nephews in a bit. it wasn't dark and that's only the second time in doing this program that I've done that. evidence as to how your mentality changes in doing this program and being part of this community
boy oh boy oh boy was it hard work!! first run of w5 r2 went with a struggle but the second run was even worse! bloody hell fire! had to cut it short before I wouldn't be able to make it home am afraid. I didn't even have the energy to eat me secret sweetie-yep, it was THAT bad!!
but.. at least I went out and was off the couch
here's hoping the next run is easier
keep running everyone !!

These festive meals are killing me too! I really feel it in my runs after I've overindulged! Thing is, it really drives home the idea of food as fuel though and I've noticed I have tried (not always succeeded mind you) to be more careful with what I eat the night before a run... Good for you for getting out there!
Well done Ali!!! I feel like I'm carrying an extra ham or two along with me as I run! Way too many drinks and goodies here too! The main thing is, you're back at it and not sitting on the couch. You will be tired tonight after babysitting and chasing kids. Hmmm...I wonder if babysitting can be considered cross-training? Gayle
Well done you - very impressive that you've come back and can see the positives about your run. Definitely not a failure. Maybe you need to cut the pace a little bit more, so you can manage to consume the secret sweetie!
