Thought I'd share! I started Couch to 5K after having an op in the summer and losing loads of weight, a new healthy fit me! When I started the programme I could not believe that I would ever be able to run for a full 30 mins without stopping. BUT I have done it!! I now run 5K regularly and once these pesky Christmas hols are over I will be adding more distance. Thank you Laura and NHS choices for a brilliant programme and to those of you struggling out there KEEP AT IT!! and good luck.

Congratulations, caj!!! You have many things to be proud of!! First, losing weight was a great way to start getting fitter!! It isn't an easy task to drop the pounds and then to keep them off!! Next, you took up running!!! Just starting the program was a huge step that you should be very proud of!! Now, you regularly run 5K!!!

Wow!! That is what I can a healthier and fitter lifestyle!! Good for you on all accounts!! You have so very much to be proud of!!!!

Keep Running!! :-)
