10 weeks ago I started C25k having not run for more than 45 years and even then I wasn’t really a runner🙄
When I started this programme I thought “great - I’ll be running 5k by the end of July”.
Then at W5, I found this forum and realised actually I won’t be doing that but I will be running for 30 mins 3 times a week which was more than fine with me.
I graduated last week 🎓 and did 2x 30 min runs this week. Today I was ready for my 3rd consolidation run and realised it is the last day of July... I wonder... Could I ? Should I ? 🤔
YES - I will attempt to keep going till I get to 5k and try and meet my July goal.
Hooorah ! I did it 🥳
43mins 49secs ... I now have a PB - not 30mins but it’s all mine and I’m soooo proud 🤣
Thanks to everyone for support and advice ❤️

Thank you so much - I’ll keep an eye out for your posts now.
Try and stick with it.
Really, I honestly feel if I can do this then pretty much everyone can. It may not be in 9, 10, 11 weeks but eventually it can be done. People get wrapped up in times/pace/distance etc. but what matters most is you getting out there 3 times a week and feeling proud that you are doing it rather than still sitting on the couch
My 5k was born out of anger and frustration with work ... I ran again yesterday and back to 30 minutes... my legs still felt tired so I’m not going to push... (tho I’m super chuffed I’ve done one!)
I’m going to embed 30 mins and 4K.... take each run as it comes and if I feel I can go on after 30 I may add another couple of minutes ...
seriously - well done!A graduate and now a 5k too! 💕👏👏
