Week 9 Run 1

Well it's here! I am on week 9 of C25K. Run 3 will be on Boxing day which seem appropriate.

I did run 1 with the friendly runners at Pontefract Parkrun - parkrun.org.uk/pontefract/c...

It was very wet and a change to run without earphones in and Laura/Cindi urging me on. I don't know what time I did but I seemed to have a much faster pace than when running solo at 6:00am.

well done! You can blow away the cobwebs (or is that mince pies and turkey) on boxing day for your graduation run, sounds perfect! I did my first parkrun yesterday and really enjoyed it. Did you register first? If you scanned your barcode, they will email you your time, if you are interested (or if you remember what number your token was).

Yes I got my email and according to that I did the run in about 28 mins, which was a little longer than I thought. Beautiful day today.
