Plucked up courage to do the park run this morning. A bit muddy underfoot but managed to get around without falling over. 34.01 which I was quite pleased with as my normal training runs are slower but hillier. First ever running event for me so a guaranteed PB.

Congratulations! I did the Park Run for the first time today as well - my time was 44.11, but I did it and I finished, so I'm happy. Great feeling, huh?

Well done to you both! The 'proper' runners are just like the rest of us only been doing it a bit longer

That's fantastic, both of you! I've yet to even venture outside as I've been on the treadmill looking at my garage door for 9 weeks! Getting a bit boring but I just focus in on my music and go. Just the thought of going out in the freezing cold and darkness puts me right off, but the park runs do sound like fun and I WIL do one, eventually!
Oh and I would call you both PROPER runners!
