Well you are a pussy cat, what do you expect (going by your pic!)
Seriously that is really awful, poor you!
I'm sorry to laugh but you poor, poor thing!
Oh gosh that's awful! I hope you're ok?!
Oh no! I had a run in with dogs last week too, but luckily was not bitten. Presume it was down to an irresponsible owner?
Awful! Hope you feel better soon.
It was on an extendable lead, so my usual wide berth didnt help..! It ran across the lane, blocked my path, so i had to stop dead, it circled me and bit me behind the knee.
I think the only thing that stopped serious injury was my thicker sweat trousers...would normally have been capris!
Oh no, that's horrible! This sounds like a nightmare.
I hope it not too serious and you'll be up and running soon.
Take care!
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear this. I was bitten by a dog when hillwalking in Wales two years ago and I know it's painful and in my case it was such a shock to the system that it put me off continuing my walk, so I missed a day's mountain climb.
Dislike. Bad doggy.
Oh dear, that's not good. (But I'm sorry I also smiled when I saw your photo!)
I hope you soon feel better.
That's really awful There are so many bad stories on this site about unruly dogs, it seems to be a big problem and it's about time that dog owners kept their dogs under control. It's bad enough for an adult but this could have been a childs face.
Hope it heals quickly x
It makes me so sad to hear this, both for the pain and shock you suffered, but also as a dog owner. We will have fewer and fewer places we're allowed to go with our dogs because of stupid people not training their dogs or taking responsibility for them, picking up after them etc. I hope you can forgive those of us who do look after our dogs properly.
Poor thing. As a dog owning runner I sympathise and hope you reported it. Once owners let their dogs bite there is a real danger they will bite again and become dangerous dogs. Hope it's not too serious and that it doesnt put you off running, or other dogs. I run where I also walk my dog and I get nervous when approached by another dog when I am running - they are not necessarily bad dogs, some of them see it as play. It's the bad owners that cause it, and they need to be controlled.
Poor you- I run near the river so encounter quite a few dogs and dog owners just don't understand that some people don't like dogs and being told their dogs don't bite doesn't help as I was told that whilst babysitting for someone and got bitten. Hope it heals quickly and doesn't put you off!
