That our perception of time changes with the passing of time?

9+ weeks ago, 1 minute was a lifetime especially if you were on the 1st week of C25K. Now, 1 minute passes by in a flash, especially if its the walk between two 15 minute runs!!

Tonight I did the first of the runs for B210K... actually that's not strictly true, can't find week's 1 and 2 on iTunes, so started on week 3... 12 minutes followed by 1 minute walk, then 15 minutes followed by 1 minute walk, then another 15 mins. 42 minutes running in total. 6.4Km according to mapometer, a few inclines but nothing too drastic.

It was hard work, and my legs ache tonight. There was no "you have 5 minutes left", just a get started, slow to a walk, get started, you have finished. Probably a good thing as her voice leaves a lot to be desired. Although the music is somewhat better than Laura's, still not totally my thing, but I seemed to get on better with it.

Will I continue with it? Yes, I think so, although I'll mix it with the 5K's as I'd like to improve on them (those?) also.

My sentiments exactly eshaz! I too could not believe how quick those 1 min walks were! I too messed up the podcasts and ended up starting on week 4!!! I'm not a fan of Samantha; I think I described her elsewhere as a lazier, more ambivalent version of Laura! but as you say, the basics of someone telling you when to run and walk is all you need really.

I'll be continuing with my 5k park run on a Saturday, and trying 2 of the B210K podcasts per week.

Ha ha! Yes! This is so true! That very first minute of running seemed like an age! But one minute recovery goes by in a flash!

If you want to rediscover the long minute I suggest the Speed podcast which is intervals. I tend to ignore Laura's beat and just run fast for the fast bits. I'm usually begging Laura to tell me the minute is up!
