I finished week 9 over the weekend, and have done 2 runs since. One in a gym, and one this morning, and jeez was it cold! I've decided that I'm just going to try to enjoy (probably the wrong word!) running for a while with no pressure to do a certain time or distance. And especially maintain the habit of getting up and outside with winter definitely here!
After today though I must definitely get on with my shopping list - gloves are a definite must, as well as an ipod holder for my arm so I can keep my hands tucked inside my sleeves!

we had concerns on how to handle post graduation and we decided to just "enjoy" where we are at and eventually move into more minutes etc. Winter will be here soon and I dread the thought of running outdoors, but even more-so the thought of running on a treadmill/indoors. We decided we will get a few light jackets/muff/gloves etc. so we can keep up going outdoors as long as possible. You are doing fantastic Slater, 2 runs since grad time!!!! Gayle
Yeeeeah slater!!! Well done-and welcome to the club!! :-).
Enjoy the stepping stones-I really have hacked the interval running. Had a break of 9 days with the cough/cold, but so pleased when i went back today, and I was there everytime with Laura when she came in counting the beats. Going to try stamina buiilding on Friday-new route on the Heath, so hills to deal with, and uneven ground.
