Week 2 run 1

That was really hard, but i pushed through and did it.

Half way i began to think I'd bitten off more than i could chew as i took a different route and threw in some hills.

I refocused and completed but i can really feel it in my legs, should i be sticking to the flat route?

I found that doing the programme was tough enough without throwing in hills as well so have always kept to a flat route. Admire you for the route but remember your body is still adjusting to running so be kind to yourself. Good luck and keep running. Jan

I agree with Jan. If you push yourself too hard at the start you might pick up some injuries, especially achilles when working hills, so be careful. I understand your enthusiasm though so keep that going and just listen to your body. Good luck for your next run. Sue
