Looking at the stats I'll be somewhere in the last 20 (of over 300) but I've got my C25K t-shirt ready, and as its the short sleeve version I'm hoping it won't be as cold as forecast, and I'm ready to go!
I'm quite nervous, but have told everyone I've spoken too today so that I don't back out.

All the best for Parkrun tomorrow Caroline, you will be fine. They are a friendly bunch of like minded people of all abilities. I stood near the back so that I didn't get trampled in the start rush. Don't be tempted to go too fast either to begin with, just get into your comfortable stride and most important of all, enjoy yourself and good luck.
good luck with your parkrun. Please tell us how it goes, as teetering on the edge of having a go myself so would be interested to see what your first impressions are
Go for it! I've been on 3 so far and LOVE it! Everyone is really encouraging and friendly. It just feels great starting the weekend with a run in beautiful surroundings. My parkrun goes past a pond with ducks and fishermen. Taking part is the main thing, so don't worry about coming in at the back. Of course, it's great when you see your speed gradually improving over the weeks.
I have just this minute got back from my first Parkrun. I did it for W9r2. Haven't got my official time yet, but did it in about 30mins 35 secs. I see you are already a graduate so you will do it no problems. Lots of other runners I thought would be a challenge because I run alone usually, also muddy and undulating surface and didn't know the route at all, unlike my familiar Tarmac paths I have been running on throughout the programme. Friendly uncompetitive feel to the run and plenty of encouragement from other runners and stewards. What surprised me the most was despite a large number of runners everyone ran very quietly (no chatter). Good luck, don't be nervous and just enjoy it
Hope you had a good parkrun, and it was as you expected, or more. seems quite a few of us have been out there today..... all eagerly waiting for our results
