I don't have anything at present. I have started with a stopwatch and a piece of paper giving me the times. I know I'll need something better as I progress.
Please help a technological moron.

Either a mobile phone (one which can play music) or any mp3 player (doesn't have to be expensive or fancy) is all you need. Download the podcasts to your PC/laptop and then transfer them to the phone or mp3 then you'll be set.
hello goldenoldy. I started this using my mobile phone. I only have a basic phone (no internet) & have no idea about how to connect it to the computer but I do know how to put stuff onto a micro sd card, so this is what I did. luckily my mobile will let me put in a micro sd card.
listening to laura gives you so much encouragement & she also has many tips to help you through each run. she will boost your confidence so if you are able to put the program onto something like a mobile phone, or a cheap mp3 player then I am sure that it will be much more beneficial than what you are doing at the moment.
you could probably pick up a cheap mp3 player for about £10-£20 & after you have graduated you would be able to add a bit of your own choice of music to spice things up a bit
good luck. shelley x
Thanks notbad and shelleymcb. It's going to be a steep learning curve so I'll have to learn fast!
I've looked at my mobile phone - it's too old or basic to have music on so that's ruled out as an option. I'll either look at updating my phone or an mp3 player.
I didn't realise getting fitter was going to be so technical. lol.
I got an mp3 player from pc world for 15 quid. You can just plug it into your computer via usb then copy and paste the mp3 podcasts into it from there. It just the same as copying and pasting between folders on your pc. I wouldnt bother with an ipod personally.
Thanks - an mp3 player is now on order.
