Still can't quite believe that I've managed to make it week 7! Now that the intervals are history I thought it was time to give my own music a go and see if that made any difference. So with a playlist downloaded thanks to jog.fm and spotify - I set ms endomondo to do a timed run for 25mins and off I went.
For the first time ever I actually felt like I was in the "zone" - little legs plodding on, breathing ok - having some better music definitely helped take my mind of the time and before I knew it endomondo was telling me I had reached my goal. I felt so good I kept going and stopped at 29mins 51 sec (slightly annoyed that I didn't have an extra 9 secs there) I ain't fast but I covered 4.15km and had a PB on 1km of 5mins.58secs so pretty chuffed.
Bring on run 2 - can't wait.

Well done! I think Laura gets used to us all leaving her when the long runs start (you would have thought she would have taken the hint and changed the music by now...!)
Its great when you get in that zone and have a good run and just feel like you can keep running, so good on ya for nearly getting to the 30 mins!
