Today I cycled 25k at the gym. My total for the challenge is 485, I really wanted to get to 500 but struggled to do those last 15k. All in all though I am delighted at what I have achieved with a torn Achilles. Looking forward to the next challenge.

Congrats and we'll done to all 5x50ers.

Well done I did the 500 finished up in North Berwick this afternoon.

I am not tempted by the November challenge they are now promoting, or the March 5x50. Although maybe I will feel differently come spring.

Don't think I will be able to run in the November one but hope the heel will be better for the spring one. Good you got your 500.

Day 50 and I finished on a high with running my first 10K race at Culloden. Since I only started running in July, I was chuffed to complete this. I'll write a more detailed blog about the run shortly. I'm very happy my 10K run coincided with the final day of the 5x50 Challenge, as I most definitely need a rest day tomorrow.

This brings my total for the 5x50 Challenge to 543 km run, cycled and walked in the past 50 days. I'm wabbit! ;-)

Hi Swanscot, congratulation on doing your 10K, I was wondering if your knee injury was going to interfere with the race and whether you would be able to run it.

I think you've all been really inspirational and thank you for posting throughout the 50 days. I think you probably deserve a rest now!!

Congratulations to everyone who stuck with it for 50 days. Those who have posted here seem to all have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

Having lived with this challenge, I'll be glad to get back to normality, whatever that was!
