Just short of a year since I started I have graduated. I did W9R3 this evening, with the aim of running slightly longer because I cover about 3.7k in 30 minutes, and I want to build up to 5k for a race. I planned a route that was about 4k, and ran with the radio on, but when I got to the end of my planned route I was still feeling good so I kept running for 42 minutes. My GPS wasn't working, but when I plotted it when I got back I was just short of 5k. I'm feeling quite please with myself. I have actually managed couch to 5k give or take a metre or two.

Well done Dolores, congratulations on your graduation day
Congratulations Delores, a great achievement.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I graduated a few weeks ago and just made my 5K this weekend just shy of 40 minutes. Such an awesome feeling!!! KEEP RUNNING and blogging! Gayle
Congratulations, Delores on completing the programme.
Thank you all for your comments, and the encouragement along the way. It has been so helpful to read the blogs of those who were just ahead of me, especially the other slow runners, and the blogs of those just behind, because it helped to see how far I'd come. It really is remarkable to go from running for 60 seconds to 42 minutes.
Very well done and congratulations Delores! Its a great feeling to have graduated isnt it and also to have run for the longest time and distance ever?! Enjoy the moment......
