Last run on Thursday, completing wk9 run 1 on my treadmill. Following that, my kness were both protesting, but hoped that I would be able to run again today. We were away over the weekend, volunteering at the National Scout Shooting Competition, and after a very full day on Saturday, returned home shattered yesterday, with hardly enough energy to walk into the house let alone run! Was not feeling too good, and spent most of the night and this morning running for the bathroom. (excellent quick weightloss but not recommended) So today, am feeling completely washed out, and aching all over, so no running today;(. Other half has offered to take a day off tomorrow, so hope to get out walking if feeling better. Long train journey on Wednesday to Norfolk, so I am thinking, next run will be on Thursday - one week after the last. Have already looked at a route, and may walk it Wednesday afternoon - just to make sure the footpaths are clear and not too muddy, otherwise I will need to talk nicely to my sister to gain access to her home gym and treadmill.
So close, and really hoping that knees will see me through to the end. Not sure what I will do once I get there, but that will be the next thing to look at. Enthusiasm fading a little, but still hope to get back to running and to get out again real soon.
