Bet you don't hear that every day! I dunno why I did it and feel very guilty now but have been so good all week (with the odd small treat) that I wanted something fast foody for dinner! Finding W3 pretty easy going - the first time was tough but now can just focus and run for 3mins. Not sure how I'll do 30mins though! Not going to have time to run this weekend so am fitting in R3 tomorrow morning.....
Did W3R2 today....and then got a chicken burge... - Couch to 5K
Did W3R2 today....and then got a chicken burger on the way back home.
I was just going to post that I've been eating like a Piggy all week and I was just wondering f this is "normal" tonight after completing Wk6 run2 I've managed to scoff half a packet of rich tea biscuits, gammon egg & oven chips and 5 chocolate hob nobs and my cravings show no signs of abeiting.
After that confession your chicken burger doesn't sound too bad. Hopefully someone else will come on here and tell us it's perfectly normal
Oh u little piggy only joking. I am on holiday, meals out lots of wine and today a smoked salmon and scrambled egg with champagne brunch this morning . But its our last holiday of our golden wedding year.Pat
I think the more you are running the more your body craves food, and if you haven't put enough fuel in during the day you can end up binging after your run.
Thats why a lot of running magazines talk a lot about food and nutrition to keep the body with enough carbs to run on yet not too heavy to run with.
(Not a food expert)
(currently not trying to eat all the crackerbreads in the cupboard after my week 3 run and shift at work today lol)
your chicken burger is probably more healthy than my cool down in the garden with a glass of water and a cigarette!! I'm the opposite, I can't stomach any food after exercise and tend to skip my evening meal if I've run. Weird!
I always have a peanut butter sandwich after a run, no idea why its just what i do!
My superfit(!) 25 year old son told me that chocolate milkshake is just the thing for a post workout recovery! Don't know if its doing me any good but it tastes fantastic!
