ok. so stuck to my plan this week & did a hill run on monday, a "stamina" podcast run on thursday & have just got back from my "increase by 1/2 mile a week" 3.5miles run. 42.17mins. am feeling energized & as if there was still some more in me which is what I wanted. bit strange though. garmin said my pace was over 13min mile for the first 20mins then I seemed to get into it & pace upped to under 12min miles & I wasnt running downhill. I even kept this speed (hehe speed) when going up hills
21 weeks til my half marathon.
this weeks plan all penciled into my diary!
monday hill training on the treadmill doing 1-3mins at 0-1incline then 1/2-2mins at 4-6incline for about 20mins altogether. followed by a pilates class, all at the gym
tuesday gonna give a new class a go. tis called On the Ball so suppose it will be good for balance
wednesday tempo type run using an audiofuel download called adrenaline junkie (no more than 30mins)
thursday got a pilates class booked in. did the stretch & relax this week after my run & it was lovely ~ nearly fell asleep when she dimmed the lights!
sat or sun long run. next week will be 4miles.
