W6 R3... I'm a runner

Or so Laura says.... As always it was hard work this evening and after the first few minutes I was doubting I would complete the full 25. I was over taken by a few other joggers which was a bit demoralising and the sun was in my eyes which wasn't great however I dug deep and kept going. Yeehah I did it!. Now looking forward to Saturday to see how I do on W7 R1, much prefer morning runs.. :-)

  • You weren't overtaken, you were merely conserving your energy in order to run longer than them - or at least that's what I tell myself when I get overtaken lol!! Congrats on doing W6R3, enjoy W7R1 :D

  • Hmmmmm, I like the way that laj1987 thinks!!! That's the ticket for you!!! You are conserving energy!! What do you mean, "or so Laura says???" You just completed a 25 minute run without stopping!!!! Could you do that 7 weeks ago???? YOU ARE A RUNNER!!!!

  • Fanastic stuff jlow. Save your energy and make sure you keep running. Its endurance you need first and you have shown you've got it. The only way now is up. Furher and faster is what comes next. Good luck with w7.

  • Well done Jlow-I do the 25 minute run tomorrow, as long as the weather (threatening gales 40 mph winds here). Only 3 weeks to go Jlow and we will Graduate together :-).
