Finished week 3

Managed to finish week 3 last night. Am I the only one to find each run hard? I keep seeing blogs where people say their run was easier than expected! Not sure how I feel about starting week 4 - excited, scared..... but intend to get to the end of this no matter what. Bit worried about the failing daylight.

Well done Martuo I found the earlier weeks the hardest, once I had my breathing under control the legs did the rest. Have faith in the programme its proven to work and work well, have faith in yourself too, be positive every time you step out of the front door. Good luck and do keep us posted on your progress.

Thank you. I did a lot of running years ago but don't remember starting being this hard - maybe something to do with my age! but I do intend to keep going. This blog thing is great for motivation. Certainly appreciate all your commentsand encouragement.

Well done for completing week 3. I completed week 3 this morning, like you I'm both excited and scared of increasing the runs to 5 minutes in week 4.

I wouldn't say its getting easier, just slightly more challenging each week. I'm taking confidence in that the C25K is a tested programme and has worked for others. The blogs on here really inspire me to keep at it.

Good Luck for Week 4!

Thank you and good luck to you, too.

Can't imagine how I can manage to run the full distance in 6 weeks but it seems to have worked for other, as you say, so head down and keep going.

Each week is a challenge for me. I am beginning week 8 next Sunday and I still pray before and during each run to have the strength to get through it. That said, once you get through each run, the sense of achievement is awesome! Best of luck to you starting week 4! :-)

W4R1 done on Saturday. I'm looking for a route I can run in the dark so ran a different route but still found it very difficult. I managed it but, again, found it difficult. Been busy since and had planned to do my second run tonight but that's looking a bit unlikely so will have to try for Wednesday night. Don 't like leaving more than 2 days between runs s findng that a bit scarey. Will need to keep reading the blogs to keep me motivated! Would be so easy just o "not bother".
