Hello everyone and happy new year! Having a new year sober and alone was turned into something positive by me completing my third week 3 run this morning! 3 minutes seemed like a big step up but I found all the runs this week went really well and definitely feel proud I can now run for 3 minutes continuously. Hoping to keep the positivity when I begin week 4 next week!

Hi Julie! I'm finding it ok actually, a lot better than I thought. When I first started I was hardly eating as I was so upset and then even 1 minute running was a struggle but I'm doing better with eating now so I've got the energy for the runs and my breathing is getting easier, I'm thinking about it less, I'm able to switch off more when I'm running!!

U r doing so well, sounds like u have found a good speed that helps you do the runs. When I was in the first few weeks, I said I was running so slow, I could even be going backwards! It is only the run time not speed because you will be building up stamina every time you run no matter what the speed. Speed can come later when it happens naturally and the run times are not increasing. I graduated about 13 weeks ago now, so if I can, u will too 😀 Julie

Hi Julie thanks so much for the positive comment! Yeah I think I'm

Going at a good speed where I'm confident I can continue for the entire length of the running time without stopping or hurting. Great to hear from someone who has graduated and still enjoying the running and keeping it up- fingers crossed that'll be me at some point!
