I looked outside today before my run and saw it was overcast, knowing it was very cold outside anyway I decided to wear my big waterproof coat. By the time I was finished not only was I warm from the workout the sun was beating down and made wearing the coat almost unbearable.
The run itself was similar to the previous runs, I struggled uphill and wondered, how would I possibly do this when I reach the longer runs, then I remembered I'll be at uni by the time I do, and the route there is more or less flat so all's good!
I don't know about anyone else but I find that having less intervals more enjoyable, makes the time go faster I think, knowing you only have a few intervals left.

Know what you mean about the weather, it was so windy and rainy yesterday morning I didn't run, then by the time the sun showed up in the afternoon I'd given up and had made a haircut appointment! Just going out now, though something tells me it's going to be cold! Still, you did your run, well done. I agree about the intervals, doing so many is daunting. Good luck for your next run, better weather I hope.
Jodie keep at it the hills will get easier trust me i am on week 3 and doing the hill run to. It gives your lungs a good work out, and as you progress will become easier. When you are at uni and doing your runs, why not find a hill that you can keep running up till you can beat it. If you have intenstions of doing a half marthon etc in the future there is no garuntee you will be on the flat all the time.
I prefer running in the cold and damp, it's the sun that puts me off as I get too hot and sweaty. I aim to get out at sunrise as that is always beautiful even on an otherwise crappy day and best of all I see no-one and nobody sees me.
Another vote for chilly weather here, with a cool breeze too, I've been out once in showers and think that as it gets harder wet will not be entirely unwelcome.
Running in the rain can be fun. Running in the wind isn't. I've treated myself to a lightweight jacket that lets the sweat out (mesh in the armpits), tries to keep the rain out but most importantly it keeps the wind out. Makes it easier to tackle all weathers
