I'm deffo going to do the Worcester Parkrun with my oldest daughter tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the whole thing. It'll be lovely to run with other people, as long as they don't talk to me, or if they do, don't expect a reply. This will be the first time I've run with anyone else. I've got my barcode printed but we can't find the laminator anywhere. I must have lent it out but can't remember. So frustrating. My husband has helped me to look. Oh well, if that's the only spanner in the works, I'll be ok!
Anyone know where I put the laminator? - Couch to 5K
Anyone know where I put the laminator?
It's in the attic. (maybe lol)
Good luck with your run. Enjoy!
Some park runs have laminators good luck for your park run xx
Look forward to hearing how you get on - I am nerving myself up to do the Worcester Parkrun one day - maybe soon? When my daughter visits she always does it and says it is the friendliest one she has done. I haven't done a parkrun yet.
I know where my laminator is but too late for you to borrow it!! Good luck
I'm putting my run details on a post but when you do the Worcester one, do let me know, be lovely to meet an C25K runner!
It will be in the last place you look!
I am still a park run virgin. I registered a few weeks ago but Saturdays this time of year just seem so cluttered.Everyone in our family seems to have birthdays in September. Today is granddaughter's first! I really want feel I have an official 5K time and feel what it's like to run with others and I am targeting 22nd september. I hope you had a good run today and can tell us what it felt like.
Good luck for your park run (well you'll be on your way now), hope it went well
Well I did the Parkrun with my daughter. It was hard work and I was very near the back!! When we were about half way round I overtook a few people and gave my daughter permission to leave me behind. I didn't like not knowing how far I'd come and how far I had to go. True to form, in the earlier part, I felt I couldn't go on, then it got 'easier' or 'not quite so hard'. The sense of achievement was really good, and I did enjoy being one of a crowd! I'm definitely doing it again! Even though we had our barcodes and we clocked in with the end barcodes, we don't seem to be in the results which is very upsetting. I don't know what has happened, we were told our registrations were successful and no-one said there were any problems when we handed our Parkrun barcodes in. I've emailed and hope to get a time, just so I can improve my time. There weren't many 'older' people and most of the runners seemed pretty fit. I didn't like being right at the back but at my age.........
