I nailed it!

Week 5 Run 3 that is :)

I am SOOOO bouncy at the moment and can't believe that I did it. What an amazing start to the day. To think 5 weeks ago I struggled to run 1 minute. I am living proof that an obese 40 year old who did everything possible to avoid running her whole life CAN do this programme :)

Got a lovely Endomondo peptalk from a friend just over half way through the run which made me smile for the rest of the run. And when Laura said I could slow down my initial thought was 'is that it? That can't be 20 mins yet!'

Now my pupils are going to be puzzled as to why I'm wearing an insane grin all day :D

  • Well done you :-) :-).

  • Thank you :)

  • Well done you. You are an inspiration. I'll be doing W5R2 tonight and R3 on Sunday. I'll be thinking of you! X

  • You can do it :) I had my doubts after I'd finished run 2 but it is TOTALLY possible :D

  • Well done you! I couldn't believe it either when I got to the dreaded 20 minute continuous run - well now I'm doing week 8 and 28 minutes, and enjoying it! I'm Fat, UnFit and Forty-Four - and really enjoying the program :-) ran FURTHER THAN EVER today hurrah

  • Awesome!! I just did my 20 minutes last night and its true...it is doable if you worked the program to that point. Is this just not way cool?? To go from not handling a minute to running 20!! This 49 year old is jumping for joy today. Looking forward to reading your week 6 progress!

  • My next run will be wk5 r2, which will be on Thursday and the 20 session at the weekend. Hope I manage it too! Well done!!
