Did my W5 R3 on Sunday - rather stupidly on a nature reserve with hills and uneven muddy paths etc. with no real problem. Yesterday and today my knees have stiffer than on previous runs - they are always a little suspect at the best of times due to a dodgy hip and slight alignment issues I can feel they need to go click and go back into place. (always been like that) but there is an ache in there too, that I haven't felt before. Lets hope it is just general muscle usage.
So I am going to give myself two days rest and do week 6 tomorrow morning before work. BUT I am really concerned that this might be the beginning of the end as far as my running career goes - which would be a real shame, although I suppose interval running seems to be acceptable. WIsh me luck for tomorrow!!!!
