So I have just completed W2R2. It was a lovely warm and sunny evening in London and what better way to end a busy day at work than a peaceful run in the park......except the world and its wife AND kids were there too! Kids just as wobbly on 2 wheels as I felt on 2 feet and looking intent on running into me....
Why do I feel somewhat put out that "my running track" has become the domain of the under 12's when surely they should be having their tea. Indoors. In front of the TV. Not getting fresh air and exercise. Like me. Oh well, suppose I should try and be gracious and share it with them......after all, the sun doesnt come out every day!
Anyhow, it was a good run though I was tired and a bit achy, but I'm glad I did it. Looking forward to completing W2 on Wednesday evening. Just hope it rains.............. ;0) LOL

Yes, the whole world and his dog was out when I was on Sunday. However, I had two nice incidents, one was a lady asking me if I was training for the London Marathon - bless I think she had a white stick with her! The other was a little girl who was wearing a leg brace and stated that she could "Beat me any day to run to the bridge", I obviously let her win - but it was hard going! Isn't life grand.
