I'm doing this and aiming for a reduced calorie intake through myfitnesspal, going for around 1600 calories a day. I've lost 2 pounds so far although I've had a couple of blips food wise. Still managing to intake less than usual.

Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow :)

I'm a C25K graduate and a Slimming World target member. I lost 4 and a half stone to get to my target last October which then gave me the confidence to take up running. I started running in March this year and had to reset my SW target lower by 8lbs in June this year because of the additional weight lost through running. So now I've lost 5 stone and 1lb.

What you will find is that you will lose the weight by following the SW food optimisation plan but lose extra inches by exercising regularly. Exercise doesn't always lead to weight loss but it nearly always leads to a toned and fit body.

For me SW and C25K are the perfect combination because you can eat all the appropriate foods to help your body recover from challenging exercise. Nothing is off limits.

Good luck with your journey :-)

I did WW and Cto5k together and in 10 weeks I have lost 17 pounds. I did nt add any acitivty points to my plan so if there are any wrong calculations about the points or occasionally if I go over by 1-2 points then it did not matter so much. Good luck !

I've just completed W7R3 today and last week managed to get to my goal weight at Weight Watchers! All I can say to you that starting this programme gave me the extra motivation and help I needed to lose the final few pounds. I think the extra exercise must have 'shocked' my body and by not eating any extra food to 'fuel' my runs my rate of weight loss actually speeded up. Now I need to speed up my running! Good luck on both your journeys!

I'm doing this and WW.

In the first 2 weeks I *put on* 4.5lbs .....

WW Leader said she thought it could be water retention bought on by the sudden increase in exercise levels.

I then stopped for a couple of weeks due to knee injuries and the weight's come back off.

I'm hoping to start the plan again soon, hoping the weight doesn't come back as well :-/
