Just did the first run of week 6 in my new H&M gear (hahaha) and feel great. Definitely challenging to go back to walk+run cycle as opposed to a straight 20 minute run, but I suppose there must be reason in Laura's madness!
Was overtaken by slim non-sweating lady with pony tail at one point, and so was daughter Becky. Very smug looking lady, I must say, but so what!

She overtook me on the same run, too! I had just extended the last 5 minute run to be out of sight of a group of dog-walking friends when I dropped back to walking, and no sooner did I slow down than the lady whizzed past, her fluorescent yellow shirt blowing in the wind... You just don't get into this running thing without looking daft at least once per session! She looked quite good, actually, a long-sleeved loose shirt down over her backside, she had the sleeves pushed up and it really looked comfortable, must look for one like that.
And never mind, only another couple of weeks and we'll be whizzing about like that too... or something... maybe! Good luck with W6R2 on Monday!
Thanks Mitts - as you say, a couple of weeks more and we'll be looking just as cool as we whizz past the slowcoaches ... dunno about the ponytail though :-;
Only one more run, then no more intervals, you'll enjoy that I'm sure. Week6 is a funny week, it feels a bit odd doing the intervals gain.
You'll be fine, Delia, you've done brilliantly so far. W7 onwards IS very different, and there's less Laura, which is a bit strange. That slim, fast running lady has probably been running for years! AND I bet non-running people you pass when you're out running are seriously impressed when they see you whizzing by! And so they should be!!!
