I have not updated for sooooo long and this is a good reason to update!
Well I've long finished the programme, ran my first 5k on 9th July in a time of 30:43 which I was very happy with
Been moving onwards and upwards since, with a 10k coming up on 30th September as part of the Preston Guild Celebrations.
Also been doing a lot of cross training and also have a 21 mile bike ride on 19th August also as part of Preston Guild Celebrations.
And then today...I did something rather radical. I signed up for Men's Health Survival of the Fittest which is a 10k course with 10 obstacle zones including The Army Assault Course, the Parkour Zone, the mighty hay bale wall and MH Wall of Fame. In other words a massive challenge!!
This is on 3rd November so a good 3 months to prepare but still rather scared!!
I'm raising money for two charities; Alzheimer’s Society and the MS Society which are both very close to my heart
If anyone from the C25K Community would like to donate, even just 50p it would really help to spur me on

Thanks guys
