Week 5 run 3 DONE!!!

It's only taken me about 3 weeks to complete week 5 :-/ Crazy shift patterns (flipping between nights and days) left me feeling very tired standing and walking for 12 hours at work 3 days on the trot doesn't leave much left for running! I had to spread my runs out, I did w5r1 twice because there was a bit of a gap. I was worried that I might have to go back further but none of that matters now I have done Week 5 run 3 and I'm here to tell the tale :-D

Having finally got around to doing the long run feels great. it felt like my legs were made of lead from the start but plodded through to complete the run. It was a struggle but I did it - so proud of myself, there were so many points where I could have given up but I didn't.

Planning to do my local Park run at the weekend in celebration

Great news, especially after all your efforts these past weeks. I bet you're grinning like mad. I hope you enjoy your rest and the celebratory Park run! Congratulations!

Thats ok that it took longer, what matters is that you keep going! Good job, keep it up. Its hard to fit the program in a busy schedule sometimes. But you got it done :D

Well done! Specially having had those awful shifts, that in itself wears you down. W5R3 has now got a big tick beside it; doesn't matter that you had times you could've give up - you didn't! Triumph! Enjoy your weekend. Good luck with the rest of the programme.
