And Couch to 5k is DONE!

So yesterday I finished week 9 run 3... the final run! Can't actually believe that 9 weeks ago I was fretting about having to run for 60 seconds, and now I can do 30 minutes!

I feel so proud of myself, and so excited to continue! I'm currently running about 4.4k in 30 minutes, so my next aim is going to be to reach the full 5k. I've also been cleaning up my eating habits in the past week (almost half a stone dropped already, fantastic!) so that will continue. Probably should have started that 9 weeks ago but my metabolism just went CRAZY and I let my body have all the food it wanted... oops haha!

After bragging about my completion of the plan, I've got at least 3 people interested which is lovely to do! Such a great feeling. Thanks to everyone for the blogs of inspiration, and helping me when I've needed it! You're all fantastic :-)

I'VE GRADUATED!!!

All the best :-) x

Nice one kay. Keep it up! What you doing next? Park runs? Entering a 10K?

I'm going to start running outside as I've been on a treadmill for this entire time! I found a course where they do park runs, so I might see how it goes to begin with then try joining in hehe! I hadn't even thought about entering anything though, but that could be great... thanks for the inspiration! :)

Ah I've read that people find running outside more difficult than running on a treadmill. I've always ran outside since doing this as I think it's a lot more fun! I find the running easier if I am running through paths in woodlands having to jump over logs and avoid route and rocks. I'm definitely more into trail running than road running!

Well done! It's always so great to hear about another graduation and from someone who so obviously adores it! Have a great celebration!
