Well I've never thought of myself as the most exciting person in the world but it was confirmed when I got excited about the prospect of wearing my new compression socks for the first time (I treated myself after graduation!). I also downloaded Suz's Bridge to 10K until Laura releases her next set of podcasts and headed off in wind and rain on my first step towards 10K.

First 15 minutes were terrible and I was extremely slow I thought I was stiff because I hadn't managed to do anything since Tuesday but my ankles started aching and both legs started tingling with pins and needles up to the thigh/hips. I had a sudden realisation that the socks might be affecting my circulation.so I rolled them down and everything improved within minutes! Well in spite of that I managed to do the 40 minutes of running (there are set intervals of walking too) and did over 6K in 43 minutes. Well chuffed!
