First run after graduating

I felt a bit nervous (and also really missed Jo Whiley giving me encouragement and more importantly telling me how many minutes I'd got left!) But.....I did my 30 minutes and managed an ever so slightly quicker pace, so I'm happy!!

What do we do without Laura?? I think I might just keep repeating Week 7-9 on a continuous loop.

Enjoy some runs, just for pure joy...:) Then think about where you want to head next on this wonderful journey:)

Laura voices over the follow on podcasts! 😃 C25k+ Stepping Stones podcasts which are free! There are three separate mini programmes - Stepping Stones, Stamina and Speed

They are brilliant! Weird, but great for taking your running to the next level and helping build to build your running legs.

Well done ... feels a bit weird not having someone telling you what to do doesn't it.

No harm in taking Jo out with you occasionally if it feels right. I did the c25k podcast and occasionally take Laura out with me particularly after a few days break.

Have you got a Parkrun nearby? Give it a go, you'll feel great afterwards and probably surprise yourself.

Good luck with your future runs, happy running!

Thanks - I agree it did feel weird not having Jo with me ! I might well still take her out for a couple of runs while I get used to going it alone! Definitely going to try park runs but I need to get a bit quicker - I'm not quite hitting 5K in my 30 minutes so think I need to get a little bit quicker first.

No need to wait, lots of people don't run 5k in 30mins and quite a few run/walk. So don't wait, go for it next Saturday and you'll probably surprise yourself.

You can do it ... happy running!

I did about 3 weeks of W9 for some consolidation and to have some company on my run. Keep it up, lots of options open to you in the future!
