I'm on earlies at work this week so I started week 5 with a 0430 start. Considering the earliness of the hour I felt..... AMAZING!!! I can't believe it. This was the first time I actually enjoyed the running. I've always enjoyed the sense of achievement afterwards but found it tough during. The time flew by this morning and before I knew it Laura was saying 1 minute left. Now to get this cheesy grin off my face and go to work!

WOW, that is super early - and I thought I was keen at 5.45am!! Well done :)

I've just done my 1st run of week 5 too and was surprised how quickly it passed today!

OMG I have to have a lie down now, just thinking of having to get up so early, let alone RUNNING at that time! The earliest I have ever managed was 6.30. Respect!

Abit random but, do you feel safe running at that time? I am wanting to start on a morning but I am worried about safety. Live in a village and would just run along the main road.

I always run in the morning (usually at a more sensible 7 am) and always felt safe, less traffic, all the morons in bed. Normally only see other runners, dog walkers and the odd person walking to the station.
