What's your favourite running track? (Those running without Laura...!)

I have devised my own playlist which I use alongside RunKeeper - but change it frequently so I don't get bored. What's the one track that really gets you moving?

Don't Stop Me Now - Queen

Mr. Brightside - The Killers

Witchcraft/Watercolour - Pendulum

Smiley Faces - Gnarles Barkley

They are my favourites but like you I need some new ones!

I like quite a few of Scissor Sisters, also Boney M (showing my age I know)

and M People.

I`ll show my age too.

I`m running to a T.Rex medley.

"I love to booge" and "Get it on" are at the start and finish

to get me going :)

In fact if I hear these tracks now I just want to RUN.

I finished my Race for Life on Groove a Little. I love running to T.Rex, almost any T Rex track with the word boogie in seems to get me moving faster :) It is one of the great benefits of this running lark re-visiting tracks from my teenage years....ahhhhh bliss

too old to be a headbanger, but my son's introduction to Metallica and Rammstein proved to be inspired. their music is so measured it is great for running

'Sweet Dreams' Eurythmics to start the run off

'Welcome to the Pleasuredome' Frankie goes to Holiday if I'm going up a hill,; i love the manic laugh and then the beat is great to get me up the hill.

I have three to four songs tacked on after the podcast ends, as I like to finish walking around my estate to get the full three miles in. They change each week. Last week was Village People "Macho Man" and "Go West" and Pet Shop Boys "Where the Streets Have No Name/Can't Take My Eyes Off of You". This week I'm listening to three upbeat "classical" style songs from the game Victoria 2.

I find stuff like Pendulum and other drum and bass to be particularly motivating. I think it's because drum and bass has that bold sound and rhythm which can match running speed!
