You will be surprised. If you keep it going they tick up quicker than you think.

Loads of good running fun to be had yet!

I had to laugh at first then I decided to check my total distance rusn in my GoodRunGuide. In the 6 months that I have run I have totaled over 210 Km and thats not C25K runs cos I didnt start to log any until I was doing at least 25 minutes. So your 500 miles will soon add up.

Good luck with your running and I hope the new shoes are good.

369.09 mi on my Garmin since Christmas Day last year and counting. I actually started running in September last year (without GPS!) so add another four months onto that. I'm sure I've hit 500+ and got some new shoes in the last month - the wear on my old ones was horrendous!

WOW the miles do add up quickly don't they?? I suppose when you are just starting out and barely managing 2 miles in 35 mins you don't think about the longer distances you might be able to cover going forward....

Food for thought!
