Was supposed to start week 9 run 1 today and it was a big fail on my part, just couldn't get into the run today, found it extremly difficult (mentally and phsically) and managed only 6 minutes and before I had to stop. Very disappointed in myself.
But that was today and I now refuse to let this bad run spoil everything I've achieved so far, so I will be re-starting wk 9, run 1 on thursday with a more positive 'I can do it' frame of mind.
And on saturday I will ready to take part in race for life, which I am excited about doing, but it should have been my graduation but will have to extend.
Dont worry! You probably got yourself into a bit of a stew and couldn't run your way out of it. You are capable of 30 mins as you have completed 28. Iam sure Race for Life will be fine. Good luck and dont be cross with yourself!
Yes, don't WORRY! You'll be fine! I've noticed that if I let that first negative thought become a brain worm, everything falls apart...my gait, my breathing, my determination. Even the best runners have a bad day...sometimes more than one....

This was me at the start of week nine, an epic fail that took me 2 weeks to complete...but i did it and my race for life. Stick with it you will be fine.
