Despite the elation of completing my race for life on Wednesday today was my first run since then. A different route to usual but a flat 2 miles round the docks on smooth pavements. Gosh it made me realise why I found the race around the park such hard work. I know pavements are bad for your joints, but also not spongy and full of divets and bumps to avoid. I think I need more off-road practice!
Also.....I want to share a t.shirt sign I saw on my race for life.....one group of girls had shirts with a photo and then speach bubbles proclaiming 'feel your boobies' and 'fight like a girl'.....fab!
