I'm currently in the middle of week 6. Off on hols at the end of the week. Not sure where to re-start the plan as I wont be able to run during the two weeks Im away.
Will be staying at a ranch at 6000ft.
I dont want to fail on my return as I have amazed myself in getting this far on the plan.
Any Thoughts?

I just took alomost two weeks off due to an injury (shin splints) and ran today for the first time and did 5k nearly all running for 44 mins ( race for life) Id say try and do something while you are away - horseriding walking swimming etc because that keeps your fitness up anyway and you can pick off more or less where you left off when you get home! Maybe just re-do your last run to see how it goes but I think you will be fine. Have a lovely holiday - sounds amazing!
knowing you're not doing the c25k while you're away will probably give you the incentive to do something and, as Claire says, that will keep your fitness up. After all, I'm sure you're not going all that way just to couch slouch are you? Have fun!
Hi Paul, hope you have a great holiday! Lucky you!
I lived a number of years at altitude, in Bolivia, and I know it can hit you pretty hard! What about brisk walking each session while at altitude, and then resuming when you return? Walking at altitude can make you very fit indeed! I remember running in La Paz and literally seeing stars after 3 minutes and crawling back to the house on all fours!
Good clean air, I'd make sure I had my trainers with me and find a nice paddock to jog/walk around before dinner when it may be a bit cooler. Have a wonderful time I'm green with envy. :0
Well I'm just back. It took me nearly a week to walk back to the cabin form the main lodge house with out getting out of breath. Then we moved to Yellowstone, tried a run just round the geyser park. Very quickly wish I hadn't.
But today I repeated my last run before leaving (WK7 R1) and completed it easily so this high altitude training does work !!!
