I barely accomplished my run ...

This morning got moving early to accomplish w6r2. I decided to take two aleves to help with my foot issue (foot goes completely numb while I run). I did it but about 7 minutes into the second 10 minutes foot went numb but kept on plugging away ... Boy that last 60 seconds took a long time! I have come to realize that the walking break between the runs makes it very hard. It is soo hard to get going again after walking. Anyways here's to 25 minutes and accomplishing that milestone :)

Why is your foot going numb? That doesn't sound like the usual aches and pains we get during the programme!

I understand the interval issues, I used to hate them too but I now know its something many runners do and this makes it easier for me to take. I'm now doing intervals as I train for 10k and I've learnt to enjoy them.

I know what you mean with the breaks, I found the same thing. Suspect when you stop your body thinks (hopes?) you are done for the day and starts to wind down. Big change from week1 when I was pleading for the walking to start!
