The dreaded Week 5 Run 3 done. Woop woop.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments yesterday. So this morning I dropped the little lad at nursery all ready in my shorts, came home and off I went. I put on my 'race for life' tshirt to remind myself of my goal (I'm registered to run this year and it falls the weekend after I will hopefully complete week 9) and left whilst it was still under 20º.

It was a very slow run mind but I've got a few weeks to work on that. But hey. I just ran/jogged for a full TWENTY minutes. Never thought it possible.

This podcast is absolutely marvellous and I love Laura.

Woohoo! I also did this run today, but failed :-(. Walked for 1min after 15mins and then ran 5 more mins. Recovered very quickly so annoyed that i did not push through. Def a mental 'thingy' for me. BUT just going to focus on how far we have come in less than 2 months. Great programme.

Enjoy the weekend sunshine, you deserved it.

Hey but you still ran for 20 minutes....what an achivevement that is. I suspect you were still faster than me even with your teeny tiny break. Have a great weekend. We both deserve it!
