Some of my personal run highlights!

Well I wondered what on earth people were talking about when they said theyd had run highlights but now I know! Did week 8 run 2 this morning and the highlight was me grinning like an idiot when it began to pour down on me after 15 mins!! And I genuinely LOVED it! No raincoat for me hust a baseball hat and a wicking tee - I would never not run in the rain after that - it felt amazing!! ...then last week during my cool down walk I spotted our visiting chippy van parked in our village - it comes once a week and there was a queue of people (some of them who have sniggered at me ambling past them in the early days.... ) well even though I had already done my 25mins I couldnt resist the burst of energy that drove me to sprint past them all without a backward glance!! :-))) I hope they enjoyed thier greasy chips hehee! I also have spotted several wildlife on my runs - a weasel ran along in front of me last run for quite a way, and a baby rabbit sat looking at me as I ran past.. also a few puzzled baby lambs at a field gate who I managed to say hello to and a boarder terrier who decided my run looked so much fun that he would join me for the final 2k! I had to drive him back home once I landed!!!!!!!!!! :-)))

Well done, I wouldn't contemplate chip shop food now. Why put all that effort into,a run and then ruin it.
