I'm at it again :/ ...Just back from W5R2..it was brilliant!! Im thrilled at how far I've come, so quickly. But, oh god, how on earth am I ever going to run for 20mins solid? This seems such a huge jump from where I left off today..seriously having doubts about this next run...Arrgghhhh..
Anxiety strikes again!!: I'm at it again... - Couch to 5K
Anxiety strikes again!!
Im one run behind you, we didnt think we could do what we've already done, you will do it, keep going xx
I honestly is not as bad as you think. Its mind over matter really - your body is more than capable now. Just trust the plan and go for it! Good luck to you both xx
You'll be fine, just take it slow . You've done all the training up till now , I think you will surprise yourself. I felt the same way , I even did w5r2 3 times cause I was worried but I shouldn't have been I was fine, in fact it was great. Just trust Laura and you'll be right
You are in the company of 100% of every one else on the board (except the one who keeps posting shopping lists I guess!) in that particular wobble!
Check out the numbr of graduate badges in these parts, it's much more doable that you expect and you are ready for it.
Just don't freak out and go off at a canter! Slow and steady
I've found on week 4 that my legs protest more when I stop the 3 and 5 minute runs and revert to walking. I have suspected that I could have kept on running past the 5 minutes had I kept going. I am hoping this means that I should be able to cope with the 8 minute runs the day after tomorrow and then onto the 20 minutes. Hope i'm right because , like you Angel-cake, it does seem like a really big jump.
It's really only another 4 minutes than you've done today and it's not half as bad as it may seem, really! Good luck for it you'll be fine
Thanks again everbody!! Rest day tomorrow, then it's up again 630ish to accomplish week 5 before work! If i do it I will be on a high all day!! Just got to get in a more positive frame of mind..and your support once again is what is pushing me through!!! Huge thanks to all of you
