No guessing game this week.

Just a thank you for everyone’s support, encouragement and advice over the last 9 weeks to help me get over the line. I genuinely didn’t think I’d be able to do this again being 4 years older, nursing a knee injury and having also undergone a further cardiac procedure since I did this challenge last.

The human body truly is remarkable and what I’ve learnt is we should never give up and always keep believing. I hope my story can help to inspire others even if a little! Thank you again and I hope you enjoy seeing all the landmarks again from the past 8 weeks!

Finally, it’s Eid tomorrow so what a beautiful and timely end to my challenge, so if you are celebrating… I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you Eid Mubarak and if you are not, have a lovely day regardless! 🤲🏽

Feels good doesn't it? But the feeling that I miss is the constant increasing running week after week, with the coach in my ear helping me along. Beyond c25k helps what are your next plans?

Yes, does feel good but more relieved to have finished! Next plan to just keep to 1-2 maintenance runs per week and get back to my other activities which I enjoy more but had suspended to concentrate limited energy levels to get through this.

well done Q - the three gladiatorial ladies are going to join you this morning. What a landmark run and challenge you’ve completed. Couldn’t resist that pun. Happy running …

Consolidation really I used to love 10km as my most favourite distance but the big thing is to keep at it and not worry about the distance just yet. With the other two ladies graduating on the same run we are a mini running group so will help each other to keep at it. What are you going to do?

Sounds like a plan. Have already exceeded my wildest dream being able to run 5k (given I am a reluctant runner) so I am now going to just stick to 1 or 2 maintenance runs per week. Keeping going will be another achievement in itself. Good you have a group to keep each other motivated.
