W9 R2 Finally done

Last time I wrote I was going on holiday late July 24. I did really enjoyed them 😅 lots of party, drinking, back to the somking hàbit and no running. I have to say it was a hell of a summer absolutely amazing!!! Actually I did run 2 days but I reversed to W7 because I wasnt fit.

Back in UK past September still smoking I started on W7 to see if my legs and body were still there. To my surprise my body didn’t let me down and over a period of 2 weeks I went from W7 to W9 and did the first 2 W9 runs. The latest in 32min, incredible!!! The feeling it’s just out of this world.

On the third run though I’ve had like a lightning strike pain on my left hip. I finished the run but couldn’t run any more for months…

Now. It’s been since October 24 my last run. Gone to private physio to treat that hip because NHS no fk clue and takes ages. Lost 17kg because a toxic relationship, got my Overeactive thyroids treated, stopped smoking again and basically my mind and body back again. I got used to run and my brain needed to run just to focus on this simple action where your mind feels calm and bad feelings disappear. It’s been a while but I’m back and running, with a bit of pain on my hip but I can tolerate that.

Yesterday finished W9 R2 in 33min. Actually I did run 5K in 33min. So proud of myself and another one till graduation which should be tomorrow. I’m amazed on how far our bodies can resist, it’s simply incredible!!!

Iove running. Can’t imagine my life without it now!!!

Excellent — well done. Running towards health and wellbeing and leaving behind toxicity. A perfect combination!
