Well that was the hardest for me so far and I nearly gave up. Slightly further than Sunday but at a slower pace , it was an unfamiliar run so will go back to my usual route for run 2and see how I get on.

That last minute was the longest minute of my life 🥵

where you go I’m following - just in a different country and a full week behind. Graduation week is special so I think it pays to keep it simple. Do what you know makes you feel good. That’s one tippy toehold on the podium of greatness!

There was no way I was giving up. I was in the office again all day and I had my hour (ish) commute before going out so that may have added to the hard work part

For sure that depletes the energy reserves….

I think with week 9 for me was expectation against the actual run, being week 9 and the 30 minute goal can play tricks with your mind, try not to over think the runs, just treat them the same as the previous weeks, the other mental block is you have run every week with help and advice from your trainer and sub consciously knowing that it is coming to an end acts as a weight to carry, losing that extra push to get you through, but it does not end there. You have this, as you have already shown.

Well done...now ease back... The podium is waiting, the badge is polished... enjoy the final laps :)

It might have been the longest minute but you didn’t give up — you did it. Congratulations 🙌

Running a new route is challenging, I find. Especially if you’re challenging yourself already with an extended distance.

So well done! You are so close to graduation!!!

I’ve just done the same run. I could feel my left calf spasm as I was getting to the 30 min - my cool down walk was a hobble!! 😂
