Hi, Almost at the end of c25k. Just one week to go and feeling good. Just wondering what others do after completing. I would like to go on to 10k or possibly longer and was wondering if there's another app to help progress to longer distances? Thanks

Hi Greenmover …CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a fantastic achievement & a great way to end the year…first thing you need to do is consolidate everything you’re learnt now..most new graduates keep repeating week 9 run 3 for a few weeks and then move on and play with either time or distance…we have a new group starting on 1st Jan…here’s the link

Good luck & keep us posted on your progress 😉
Hi there, good luck with week 9! I graduated in October and have just kept trying to do 30 minutes three times a week (although not always managing it! 😉). I can't do 5K in that time (I did a Parkrun once in just over 36 mins)... Anyway the 30 x3, if I can, is what I'm happy with atm, and is SO far from where I was before this programme!
Once you've consolidated the world is your oyster. The Nike Running Club app has lots of guided runs. It's free and you don't have to buy Nike gear to use it. They also have training plans for 5k, 10k and beyond.
Have a look at our Bridge to 10k forum healthunlocked.com/bridgeto10k There's a group run starting on there tomorrow to work up to 60 minutes/10k. You might have to start a few weeks after the early birds but the plans are there to help you, you're not their slave so once you're ready you can join in.
Looking forward to reading about your graduation, good luck!
Look forward to hearing about your finish on C25K! I went on to train, with the Nike app for a 10K. Unfortunately, a stress fracture in September got in the way, but I'm back now building up my strength and looking forward to running my first 5K. ATM, I'm run/walking - much like the C25K programme...
