Back out today for my final run of week 8. Was a pretty good run, slightly slower than last weeks effort but a solid steady pace and feeling good afterwards.
Paths and trails were a little flooded still, after all the wet weather over the weekend, so there was a lot of zig-zagging around pot holes and jumping puddles. I'm getting pretty good at adjusting my stride to navigate around them now.
Enjoy your runs and I'll update as I get into week 9.

What a great picture StoneDragon , really captures that 'sunshine now the wind and rain has blown itself out' feeling.
All the jumping around puddles is really good for your joints etc, you are doing double the workout you would be doing on a treadmill. Who'd want to run on one of them if they had a place like yours to go to
Thanks YLG, I hadn't thought about that benefit (i'm just trying to keep my feet dry). That little bridge is near the end of my run and there is a (slight) incline up to it and beyond - makes be work harder when I'm feeling tired but I know it's good for me!
Great stuff SD! Wow that's really flown by! Seeing pics like that really makes me want to get out and run 👍🏻 bright and early in the morning hopefully 🤞🏻
It has flown by, can't quite believe it's the home stretch. I was wondering last week when running, when does this get easier? But I guess i'm still pushing myself each run at the moment so it's not going to feel easy until i'm just consolidating my runs.
Hope your run goes well in the morning - keep us posted.
