W6R2 complete. Boom. Goodbye interval runs !

My run took me by the beautiful river this afternoon. It's never easy but I'm glad I did it.

Not sure if the intervals are harder or the continual runs. I'll let you know on Sunday !

Next is a 25 minute run and it gets repeated all throughout Week Seven too. I should be expert at it by the end of next week 🤞

I'm trying to improve my diet too. Today - porridge oats and chia seeds for breakfast , chicken salad wrap for lunch and I'll have beef stew for dinner 😇. If only I could maintain this in the long-term but 🍫 beckons and I fall off the healthy waggon all too easily.

If you're running tonight, have a good one !

Well done MB and enjoy the next one - at the end of it Sarah (I am using coach Millican again) told me I am a runner! Nice to hear even though we've been runners for a while. Intervals are great apart from when it's time to run again and you've run out of steam!! Much easier to just keep running... That's my twopenneth!! 😉

Go for it ... You know you can do it and put that chocolate down 😉

Cheers Richard. I think you're right - easier to keep going. Mind you, I wasn't thinking that just, when I was halfway through W6R3. No chocolate yet - my motivation is still high (give it a week or two) !

Well that's farewell to walking breaks for you MB, congratulations to you on completing run 2 of week 6, after one day off running you will run, run 3 of week 6, which as you know is 25 minutes non stop after which your coach will tell you that ,"you are OFFICIALLY a RUNNER," I bet you are looking forward to that✅🏃

Thanks Al. Just got back from W6R3 and yes, (apparently) now I'm a runner. Hurrah

That's it MB, congratulations, yes you are now officially a runner, not long now until you graduate, as you already know, the 3 runs of week 7 are all 25 minutes non stop running, you will be looking forward to that on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Well done MB, great running. Knew you could do it. The 25m runs have been going well for me. Slightly easier (wrong word - maybe less hard 😥) each time!

Enjoy your rest day 👍

🍏 👏 You will love the long runs if you take them slowly especially the first 10 mins..Don’t overthink them…you are well prepared.. enjoy the rhythm of your body, keep those shoulders relaxed ☺️ & dont forget to smile!

Your healthy diet will be forgiving of a few squares of chocolate 🍫 as a run reward!! Look forward to your next post 🏃‍♀️ 🤗

Good luck with week six. You've got this. I've finished it this evening and W7 beckons on Tuesday. By my calculations, on Thursday we'll be doing the same 25 minute run !

it’s always interesting seeing what folks have to eat whilst doing this I find the most problematic time is prior to the runs whether to have a drink or not whether to eat a banana or not !, don’t like the sensation of fluid sloshing about if food hasn’t been digested .

It's 3.35pm and I've been crown green bowling since 10am, then straight out for my run afterwards so I've only had porridge all day. Running on an empty stomach was fine. Rewarding myself now with Greek Yoghurt and nuts

Well done!! You are doing so well.

A little treat of chocolate at the end of each week wouldn't go amiss as a reward, I think. (Mmm - chocolate)

Keep us posted on Week 7!!!
