Just got back from W7R1. I enjoyed that. I did it in reverse. The long drag was in the middle this time not at the end like the last time out. Plus I warmed up and stretched properly. The last K was mostly flat or slightly downhill. I went a wee bit slower too. I was apprehensive this morning because I found it hard last time out. I analysed my run last week, made some small adjustments and I found the experience so much better. I could have gone on further but reeled myself in. There were lots of runners out this morning. Most waved or smiled. I felt part of something. Was a nice feeling. I’m not going to get carried away because there are good days and not so good but I’m getting fitter and the end of the program is close. I’m looking forward to it now not dreading it.
It would have been much more difficult if I hadn’t joined this forum. Thanks to all of you for sharing your experience and supporting me. On we go.
